Do these wireless D Links wear out?
Mine seems to be cutting out several times and I have to turn it off
Maybe it might be this new puter?
Also Nick on this Windows 7 puter the pages don't want to load but if I take the cursor up to the back page button it will then change. Both on Firefox and Explorer

Ran Malware and no problem
It crashes out on each puter I watched each puter die and its real old. It is as old as the lenght of time I have known you and a bit more :)
Do you think the D Link has earnt its keep?
And I do mean load.

Could be the culpert .
You can also try and flush the dns .

Go Start>Run (*Start search* in Vista), type in:
*cmd*
Click OK (in Vista, while holding CTRL, and SHIFT, press Enter).
In *Command Prompt* window, type in or copy and paste the following commands, and hit *Enter* after each one:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
"net stop "dns client
net start "dns client"
*
Now, we need to reset router...
Turn the computer off.
On your router, you'll find a pinhole marked "Reset".
Keep pushing the hole, using a pencil, or a paperclip until all lights briefly come off and on.

Thanks for that Nick
I was going to try and get a new free on out of my ISP as they give you one when you sign up
I reckon mine would be 5 or 6 years old at least. I have a spare router which I got when I signed up but its only the basic one

Without looking at the logs Jon , you can also do update your Java . follow the instructions . dont take long.

Update your Java version here: http://www.java.com/...d/installed.jsp

Note 1: UNCHECK any pre-checked toolbar and/or software offered with the Java update. The pre-checked toolbars/software are not part of the Java update.

Note 2: The Java Quick Starter (JQS.exe) adds a service to improve the initial startup time of Java applets and applications. If you don't want to run another extra service, go to Start > Control Panel > Java > Advanced > Miscellaneous and uncheck the box for Java Quick Starter. Click OK and restart your computer.

2. Now, we need to remove old Java version and its remnants...

Download JavaRa to your desktop and unzip it to its own folder

* Run JavaRa.exe (Vista users! Right click on JavaRa.exe, click Run As Administrator), pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions.
* Accept any prompts.
* Do NOT post JavaRa log.
