Senator Lamar Smith, lead sponsor of the currently dead SOPA bill you’ve heard so much about, has another bill in the works that uses Child Pornography as a screen to push through an amendment that’ll have your internet service provider tracking all of your financial dealings online. Each time you use a credit card, each time you read your bank statement, all of your IP information and your search history will be required by your ISP to be stored for 18 months at all times. This bill is H.R. 1981 and will have more dire consequences than SOPA or PIPA ever had the potential to have.

Do ya think those guys have a bit too much spare time to dream up stuff to do?
Maybe we should all be required to wear a camera/voice recorder/GPS device 24/7 that links down to a government data bank......... that would pretty much fix everything.
A a bonus, it would create 50 million new high paying government jobs to monitor people and keep them in line.
... and some people think that only the private sector creates jobs. ;)

If you remember awhile back they were talking about putting chips in newborns in case they were kidnaped . Yea right .

You already do....
Every time you holster your cell phone and jump into your truck. If someone wants to know where you are bad enough you can be found within about two hundred feet twenty-four hours a day by tracking your cell phone.

Just last weekend I was listening to my police scanner while some guy was texting his girlfriend about fifty miles from here and threatening to kill himself. His girlfriend called her local police department. He was here in my town sending the texts. The police department found him within two hours as he was driving around the area constantly. His cell phone was pinging local towers every two seconds and they were eventually able to pinpoint his cell phone and stop him.

YOUR BIG BROTHER TAX DOLLARS AT WORK.

Thats just how cell towers know where you are so they can send a call to you, it's just how it works and the .gov firgured out how to track you from that. I love a conspiracy but sorry, it ain't.

It's how they find out if you murdered somone as well, if your going out to kill somone don't bring your cell. :D
