That's literally going to put someone in a wheelchair. Should have shaved off the underside with a saw or a plane.
I did a test piece shaving off the vertical tongue and left it there for anyone to see, but I had reservations on actually giving him advice for something I’m not responsible for, but now we have this tripping hazard 🥵 …. Life’s discernments can be difficult 😞……. What do you think about caulking that 1/8” tripping zone ?

That’s what a lap over stair nose looks like. Are you trying to make it look like a flush mount stair nose instead?

Flush mount would be best IMHO or the proper Lap over where the “T” rests on top of the LVP….Here’s a pic of a job I saw in Lancaster Pa. A low profile nosing.

Dropped and picked up some binding at the local fabrication shop and noticed two simple tricks from Pat and Dave 👍…. Pat was stabbing a carpet tube with the giant shears for a dustless breaking of a 3’ section. Dave was using a hand held whisk broom to sweep before rolling up a small area rug 👍 They have every type of binding equipment imaginable and an appx. 20’x30’ air table 🤩 I was a kid in a candy store 🤓

I am so old I remember when rug binding was done by hand with a stapler.

Sewing binding on the floor is total misery. You keep changing positions but none are even slightly comfortable.

I just thought of another one I hand sewed.
I'm not sure I can get images to show. It was an odd one.
