I completely agree with red oak, that was my first instinct of the picture.
The suckiest part of hardwood which has been carpeted over is puttuing the holes frm the tackless and the pad staples. We found hardwood under our living room carpet, don't like the hole flaws and have decided to replace it with a new hardwood.
