Blueberry picking

My wife and I went blueberry picking this morning. I now know what a migrant farm worker feels like out in the fields. It was 96 degrees out and we are out in a field in the blazing sun. There was a slight breeze on occasion but that was about it. I guess yesterday they had 3 people drop out in the field due to heat.
We picked 11 lbs of berries and I think I ate 12 in the process. Umm good.

There are numerous blueberry farms around the area. The one we go to is about 20 miles away called Blueberry Lane, in Otter Lake, Mi.

Whats up with these heat warnings back east? Out here they just tell us it's gonna be 110 degrees F. We deal with it. BFD

Usually we call it a 'dry heat". But now since the monsoons came up from Ole Mehico its 100+ with 50% humidity and lots of rain. I am lovin it.
