I once mentioned tackless as 'gripper' to Tia, she had never heard of it being referred to that way.

Why aren't we all calling a spade a spade?
 
Perfect opportunity to sell a restretch.

We could restretch pretty much all the residences in Winnipeg. Even the guys powerstretching aren't getting it right.

We did a partial replacement in December where the first installer botched a 45' seam ~ we replaced 2 45 footers, and seamed to the existing first piece, about 15 feet. I was vacuuming up the loose tufts after the stretch-in and when I put the nozzle to the carpet on the 15' side, I was aghast that I lifted the previously 'powerstretched" carpet about 4" off the pad.
