Anyone in the earthquake area? It was in central California, I think Havasu is in Southern California. My son, the college professor, is in Davis, about 50 miles from there.

I read it this morning. What a mess.
It's 400+ miles from here but we still got the obligatory phone call from one of the confused old relatives living Back East who worry that we're going to fall into the ocean.
When it falls into the ocean, you will have beach front property.

my sister and nieces live in SF and Napa. Napa got it worst. Her grandkids would have been seriously hurt if the quake bad been in the morning when their parents get ready for work as the large TV amoire fell over right where they sit for breakfast.

Damn. Glad they are OK.
That's scary. I can't imagine after the big one that people down there had in the late 80's, that they don't take quakes seriously. I'd have my walls screwed to the walls if I lived down there. It was a learning experience that I'm sure they will pass on.
