Hey Ern, can you explain what steps you took? I understand the rubber, but then you caulked over it?

Its not rubber Hav, it's backer rod. Backer rod is extruded foam in rope form. I use it on tub surrounds at the join of tub and tile to fill the void, then caulk over it. Reasoning is a) it takes less caulk and b) it takes less caulk and still lets the floor move.
Just ge the right width backer rod and stuff it in there.
