I'm replacing carpet with laminate flooring.

My subfloor is close to 20mm lower than the door, maybe a little more.
My plywood is also really wobbly, not creaking.
Earthquake effect while the carpet underlay is already down.

How do I fix these two problems.

Is underlay cheaper than attached underlay?

Any information will help.

Ok, I will rephrase it.

Carpet padding.

The earthquake effect I mean when you jump in the room all the objects in that room will shake. Sorry I can't explain it better.

Wobbly: tending to move unsteadily from side to side.

With the height difference you could probably throw down a layer of 1/2" plywood and block the joists but I would suggest hiring a pro instead of trying to figure it out.
