New meteor shower this weekend

Sounds like it might be a real eye cater if predictions come true. Most meteor showers are well known and happen every year on the same dates. This one is new and it's a first timer. Pretty rare to have a brand new meteor shower.. especially a possible great one.

On the bright side Darol, it's peak isn't at 4am like most showers.

Who knows, it might turn out to be nothing. Then again, if they have it right it might be a once in a lifetime event. Ya just never know................. if ya did, then you'd win the lottery every week.

For what it's worth, astronomically speaking, Saturday means tonight. So look up anytime after about 10pm. I think we are gonna be cloudy............. surprise surprise.

Sky cleared up by 9pm tonight and we watched the sky till midnight and not a sign of sparks to be seen. Maybe tomorrow will pan out.

Not sure if this was a one time event or not. I'll check to see if there's any stragglers expected.
