Saw a floor with damage caused by a tack on the base of a small book case. Next to the wall it dug on a little and there are some superficial scratches a foot and a half out in front of the book case where it has been moved. They aren't deep enough for repair, and I'm wondering if there are any permanent marker/stain markers that would reduce the visibility of the light scratches. There is one small gouge out in front of the book case also and I'm wondering how well the repair kit from Uniclick works on the deeper repairs.
I really liked that 2 part resin stuff that Pergo had 20 years ago. Quickstep has a hard wax kit and I'm not sure how well these things work, or how hard it is to blend them for a good color match. Anyone have experience with these, or any suggestions?
