Why weren't the door frames undercut for the tile?

Thats what I said. Neighbor friend, everyone here is a tile guy.

So the pic is me using the new Titebond tape for a transition strip. It's black with white paper on top. I taped both sides, tile and wood. Told them they are guinea pigs.

No tile guys here undercut anything cept for me.

The premise for the post was attaching the t-mold to both laminate and tile with the new tape to see what happens. The tape is extremely stretchy.
Most installers here don't use the tracks and glue moldings in place with construction adhesive including myself unless on wood then they use them. This can result in too much adhesive closing up the gap.
Hoping the t-mold moves with the wood.
