You know when you are on fixed income sometimes you have to improvise. That's what I did today. You know the old saying "baby needs a new pair of shoes"? Well this grandpa does too! Wife has been after me to get rid of them but they are so comfortable.

Nice running whip stitch. I think you shoulda done a lock stitch though. I started using super glue on the new thread when I buy them. Just a light coating.
