What's the best way to backup a pc?

Acronis true image is the best one out there Darol.

Instead of reformatting, and loading all your software on the new drive , Just stick the disk in .

But what happens if the cloud floats away?

I bought a seagate 1TB backup drive when I had my old puter, when it died I wasn't certain the thing had saved much of anything just because the old puter's software didn't read or work well with it. Loaded it on the new pc and everything was there, lost nothing. It just sits there like a mini black monolith.

A back up drive is a good option E. I don't see the cloud floating away though. ATI will back up to your drive .

Back up and soon as you get it Darol. Should do one once a week .

I didn't have to resister when i got the trial version.

If so, does that cover Bookmarks, Favorites, email addresses, etc?

Yes . It does a disk image of your drive .
