Unless you install it on a VM machine Jon, i would wait till they release it.
The techs they send it to, say it is deleting programs , and you will have to reinstall them . this is if you use the ISO disk. If you use the download it will still remove a few but not all.
All in all they say it is the best OS MS put out . Boot times are a lot faster for one .
We're just going to have to wait and see . Don't know yet if it supports any 3rd party software as of yet .
I still really, really like XP Pro. Never did the Vista thing. To bad support for XP is dead. Still running XP on another box via a KVM switch. Pretty handy to run two pcs (learning a new OS, while having what I know for use in a pinch) with one keyboard, monitor, and mouse.
