while I am browsing around, thought I might share my floor I just put in the kitchen.

it's a bit different, but so far its working out

yep, that is tounge and groove, also called bead board
it is finished with clear polyurethane

actually pretty good. the beadboard, as you can see, i turned it over
instead of the every 3'' groove it is every 5''.
the counter top has 4 coast min wax floor poly urethaine on it and silicone
counter to back splash

pictures take'n before i decided to remove brick back splash
its real brick 1/2 thick slivers.
