Carpet on basement concrete floor / drywall mud residue

Hello - newbie here, I'm finishing my basement.
Drywallers just left and my basement, concrete floor is a MESS!

I have scraped all the chunks down to level and even, swept and vacuumed.

STILL, there are white spots everywhere
Even taking water to some of them and scrubbing still leave a slight color

I plan on putting in carpet

How much do I really need to remove of the drywall mud residue?

Don't worry about it. You can pad and carpet right over it.

I'd back charge them for the clean up. They always make a mess and never clean.

Wait until it dries. Mold needs water. I'm assuming the floor is normally dry?

floor is normally dry, however concrete does "sweat"

I'd let it dry, scrape off the chunks, then give it a quick mop a few times with Lysol, which is great for disinfecting.
