I AM INSTALLING CARPET TILES 18"X18" WITH VINAL BACKING SOME INDOOR & SOME EXPOSED TO RAIN.
CAN I USE A INDOOR OUTDOOR GLUE FOR THIS PROJECT & ROLL THEM WITH A 200 LB ROLLER? I know they call for pressure sensetive glue but it is quite exspensive for 15,000 sf! Gary

Hi,

You can use adhesive for carpets tile for complete operation. Your alternative is acceptable also but considering that it was good for indoor make the application of glue thicker than indoor tile.

Sheet carpet and carpet tiles should never be rolled with a roller, they should be placed into the adhesive and smoothed out by hand during the installation then once all the field is down/full tiles all laid they should be pressed down into the adhesive by means of a weighted glida.
