Just wondering lately everytime I get on ere I get a pop up that says that they had to refresh the page with Compatibility view. ???????????

If it is a pop up, you sure it is not just an advertisement? Can you post a screen shot of what is popping up?
Not an advertisement. Its almost like a banner that goes across the screen. Gives me the option to view or close it out. I think it is kind of yellow in color.

I'm wondering if it don't have something to do with my laptop that I have had since Christ left Chicago with Vista on it. Its a 13 laptop that travels easily. Oh and I use IE.

It has to be something to do with the site then .
You can try running malwarebites and see if that helps .

And Adware cleaner . Make sure you have all your passwords written down,

Well it must have something to do with the old Vista laptop. I'm now t home on my desktop and no problems.

Open the Laptop, and then check the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
check the Tools button Tools, and then check Compatibility View settings.
Under Add this website, enter the URL of the site you want to add to the list, and then check Add.
Note :
If you add a site to the Compatibility View list and the page looks worse, the problem might not be compatibility and you should remove the site from the list.
