Diy floor prep!

So i had to pull off this HUGELY krap laminate job so the recurring customer could do some SLC on the slab that had a huge drop off. Usually the guy does ok. I come back and instead of flat there was a hump that was just as worse than the drop off.
Then i made him grind it off. There was dust, lots of dust then i told him i have a dustless grinder. Lol
Then he needed more SLC and i lent him my screed and told him how to screed SLC.
He said why the hell didnt you tell me that before.
Gotta let them fail. Failing is a great learning process.

That's my problem. I can't help myself when knuckleheads try to do my job. I'm angry and amused at the same time.

I had him eating dust. Prolly ground off a bag or two of SLC. That was amusing.

I went and did a floating engineered 7.5 inch wide 300sf in a day. Good money
