Hello all,

We accidentally spilled paint on the our hardwood floor!!! We spent hours cleaning and thought we did a decent job. Unfortunately when the floor dried white markings appeared on the floor. I’m not sure if this is paint or we have scrubbed the stain off it? Is there a way to repair this floor? I want to avoid sanding the entire floor and re-staining if I can. Any help would be really appreciated.

Looks pale like some dried out ashy skin just begging to be rubbed with cocoa butter lotion. Try rubbing the affected area with some oil or a Tibetan almond stick and see if that doesn’t bring some life back to the floor. Maybe even time for some Murphy’s oil or something similar for your floor.
