Nick, ya want to try and help me with this one?

I was getting notices that I have outdated drivers from that damn AVG.

Then adobe acrobat reader got updated I think cuz it says new update on it. Says "This app can't run anymore on your pc.

When I try to update it it says " The program feature " \??\C:\users\stephen\Appdata\local\AMD\CN\crimmanifest.exe cannot run due to incompatibility with 64 bit versions of windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64 bit version of windows compatable version is available.

Then when I try to load my new intuit turbo tax software it says it needs to install microsoft .NET Frame work .net utility tool. So I do that and then it says it failed with the following error code 1602*-2147467260*-2147467266*0:

WTF? over!

No rush as the old program is running now. Its that damn AVG keeps telling me I have outdated or missing drivers.

Drivers are better left alone unless there is something not working.

And never trust 3rd party. No AVG, no Microsoft.

If you need some driver you go straight to computer, video card manufacturer and you get it from there.

As for Acrobat Reader I's first try to reinstall it.

As for .NET issue....

Let's try cleaning up your .NET framework...

Download, unzip, and run the http://redirect.viglink.com/?format...Smartest Computing&txt=dotnetfx_cleanup_tooll. It will remove the .NET framework from your computer so that we can reinstall it later.

After running this cleanup tool, it should ask you to reboot. Please do so.

Next, download and install http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/E/20E90413-712F-438C-988E-FDAA79A8AC3D/dotnetfx35.exe This will reinstall the .NET framework onto your computer. Note: this is a large file, and could take some time to download depending on the speed of your internet connection.

After another reboot, download and install http://download.microsoft.com/downl...52-4600-A198-53214C69B51F/dotnetfx35setup.exe This will update the .NET framework to version 3 SP1.

If you need any more updates for the .NET framework, Windows Update should find it for you (assuming updates are set to automatically download and install).
