KoolGlide and Wood

I was watching Robert do this KoolGlide demo on facebook and wondered about the starter rows. Sure looks more time consuming than running a bead of adhesive and pinning the edge where it goes under the baseboard. Plus, is it going to move with the rest of the wood or act like a wall?

I have used my Kool Glide on a few repairs but not for starting or finishing a job. It definitely looks slower than the way I like to do it (same as you do).

I'll stick with the way you guys do it , and keep the money they want for their tape .
