I've gotten a couple of these lately. Box store installs laminate without R&R the base and puts up matching QR up against a painted 3 1/4 in baseboard with a 3 line profile.
It looks like a steaming pile of dog shit. There's a gap at the top which needs caulking and the QR sticks out at the door casing.
I go in to do another room and pull baseboard re-install the floor and then they want the rest demo'd cus it looks like "a steaming pile of dog shit".

Biut I was thinking instead of demoing the floor just demo the base and put up some nice thick stone with profiled top edge as a base.
What would you charge for that?
