I just installed some Tarkette Fibrefloor in a home office. It gets used daily to some degree. PDFs are eating up 99% of my CPU as they load, or attempt to load. I wanted to look at what Tarkette says about swivel wheels on office chairs. The lady of the house uses the office most and she's tall probably in the 140 range. Should I recommend a floor mat?

Frequently moved furniture and appliances may cause scratches
or indentations in your new floor unless proper rests, glides or
casters are used. Metal domes and furniture rests with small,
narrow or worn surfaces should be replaced with wider,
smooth, non-staining, protective load-bearing devices.

Thanks Rusty
.....I love their vagueness.

I'll go look for some casters with the word "proper" on them, so the warranty remains intact. :D

No one is going to warranty rolling traffic, especially non-commercial. Cut to the chase and get a mat.

I talked to her about those early on. She asked again, and I told here that manufacturer wants them used and that it may hold up fine, it wouldn't be covered by a warranty. She bought a mat today.
Thanks
