Prepping puffy OSB

A large area will be receiving an lvp click plank.
How would you prep this? It's a lot of sanding and a lot of skim coating. It's 42 by 27.
The floor looks to be very flat, no highs or dips that I could see using a 6' straightedge. There are two bathrooms and an 18 by 8 laundry room and two small hall/transition areas.
It might be one of the thin Coretec planks.
I did this once with my 13" Clark buffer. I think I used some 20 grit paper...... yeah, it took a while. The area was about the same size.

How many ibuprofen would it take if I let them borrow my edger?

You mean ‘rent’ your edger? People gots to pay even if it’s with a home cooked meal.

Make sure to hammer down any proud nails cus that’ll rip a sanding disc real quick. Is that new construction? Put a fan in the window and go to town cus dust containment costs extra.

16 grit on an edger, eats nails for snacks.
Probably can't find that for a buffer.
