Slow Machine

A few weeks ago I started noticing the confuser slowing down some. When typing something, like in Google, you could type out the complete word and have to wait a few seconds for it to pop up. Now things want to just stop on occasion and have to wait till it wants to continue. Then it doesn't want to back out of a page. It appears to be on the net only.

I've ran Mal-bites, defraged, ccleaned and all's fine with those anyway. What's messin with me? I know I'm slowing down, but that's no reason for my confuser to do the same.

Let's try simple first .
Go Start>Run (*Start search* in Vista), type in:
*cmd*
Click OK (in Vista, while holding CTRL, and SHIFT, press Enter).
In *Command Prompt* window, type in or copy and paste the following commands, and hit *Enter* after each one:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
"net stop "dns client
net start "dns client"
*
Now, we need to reset router...
Turn the computer off.
On your router, you'll find a pinhole marked "Reset".
Keep pushing the hole, using a pencil, or a paperclip until all lights briefly come off and on.

It's not recognizing this command. I tried it spaced and no spaces. With * an without.

Not to worry . clear the cache and see if that helps.

That did it Nick. You think the ip address numbers got messed up? I've had that happen before if I remember right.

They get corrupt sometimes .sometimes the cache gets clogged. the isp address gets corrupt to , that's why we flushed the Dns .
