I helped my friend pick out some rake trim from the scrap pile that the lumber yard had in the back. Got about 15ft of it for free. Bc his roof wasn't even, it ended up with a bit of a gap on one end & the rake trim will cover it. For the other side, there is a bit of an overhang (he didn't want to unscrew all of the panels & scoot them over 3" bc they are slippery to walk on & it's a total pita to do stuff on the roof). I suggested that on the side that overhangs, he could fold the metal over so wind can't blow under it. He could always put rake trim on top of that if need be.

Another mutual friend (who also has terrible luck-- house burned just before x-mas) moved his trailer on to my friend's property & is staying there for awhile. Guy had been staying with his psycho father but the father tried to murder the mother by setting the bed on fire & locking her in the room. She managed to escape but afterward he locked her out & threw out all of her stuff, all of our friend's stuff, and all of the grandkids' stuff. He couldn't let his kids be around someone so volatile anymore so he moved away. The upside is, that friend is now available to help with fixing stuff up & he's strong as an ox.

Downside is my friend *still* can't figure out what is wrong with his car. Replaced the computer, the wiring harness, connectors, sensors, fuel pump... but now the injectors aren't firing. My mom said he needs to clean the injectors but he'll need some parts for that.

I've been struggling to find the shower Mom wanted for her bathroom bc it seems with all the coronavirus stuff, things aren't getting shipped over and a lot of stuff is out-of-stock.

My brother came home with some kind of respiratory crud but insists it's just a cold. Passed it on to me & I'm washing my hands and trying to avoid passing it to Mom, but it's had me feeling down. Been dizzy & tired. All the other casinos have shut down except the one my brother works at & they just changed his hours to be less consistent. He really wants to transfer to another kitchen where he can get better hours and not finish work at 2am.

I briefly went to the post office and was planning to go to the store but ended up feeling too sick to go. Last time I went there was no hamburger meat left. Friend said there was no toilet paper either & they were out. We usually stock up and get 24-Mega roll case that lasts us a couple months. We often give some rolls to our friend. So I had some to give him, the bathroom cabinet is stocked up with the previous case, & the new case is still in the truck bc I've been too lazy to bring it in.

Tomorrow (actually later today) I need to go to the store and get my cholesterol medicine since it's almost out. I probably need to grab some milk and see if they have any hamburger meat. First thing I do when I get in is wash my hands because I'm very bad about touching my face/mouth constantly when I'm in the truck. I also catch myself scratching my nose & need to stop that. The more I think about how I'm not supposed to touch my face, the more my face starts to itch though. LOL.

Rusty, sounds like you had a problem similar to what phideaux (Jim) on the homesteading forums had. Glad you pulled through. I had about the opposite issue- I started feeling dizzy Friday night and had trouble finding my pulse. When I did find it, it was very slow. I felt like absolute garbage so I opened the door & called one of my cats (he knows his name and comes running when called). He zipped in and curled up with me and purred to make me feel better. I discovered the dog was in the room (under the covers) when she popped up after he sat on her.

Took the wife grocery shopping yesterday. Being she was in the hospital with the type A flu for 6 days, which is 3 weeks ago now, she put a mask on and wore latex gloves she put on in the car. Took off the gloves and trashed them when getting in the car. Hope it helps protect her some what. Last night they announce all casinos in the state will be closed for 2 weeks starting tomorrow. When the close casinos you know they are expecting the worst. But it is a good thing as most people are old people that use them.

Casino here has a lot more people cleaning machines and quite often. Instead of just wiping the machines, they are spraying something and wiping. Also atm's, credit card machines, cage counters door handles anything touchable. I got an email from the saying they are changing decks of cards 4 times per shift. Many more hand sanitizer stations to.
Seems there doing everything possible. My brother and I were going to go to a show there on the 28th.

Probably not because of this virus.
The governoris declared no gatherings over 250 people.

With the electrical problem, don't they normally cauterize the part that is misfiring?

My brother was really sick today & had to call in to miss work. He can't afford to miss many more days now. Unless they close the casino down, he may have to call in more though. I'd tell him to go get tested for covid-19 but they don't have the tests in my area and likely won't test people even if they had the tests. Plus he doesn't take my advice on anything.

My PEX cinch tool arrived in the mail so that made me happy. Still not feeling great though. Hoping it's just a cold & that it will go away.

Back in the forum from a long hiatus. Pennsylvania is shutting all restaurants and other businesses that draw a crowd. Takeout only. I work in IT at a college so I'm essential. Not going to lose work. We have plans to work the Help Desk from home if needed. Students won't be coming back till Summer. No cases in my county or west of me in Pa. Hoping it stays that way.

On a more related note, the Coretec 9x72 Alexandria Oak put down in July 2019 is still looking fantastic. Hunter's claws still haven't put a mark on it. Using a Wet Jet to clean up messes. Very easy cleanup.

Next project will probably be to paint the concrete floor in the lower section. Rustoleum Rep said I don't need to etch. Just clean well. Don't really have a good way to remove water except by shop vac. Might clean it in sections anyway. All depends on what happens at work.

3 years till retirement! Wish it were sooner!
