Flooring Academy of Specialty Training Career Institute (FAST) has announced they are planning on starting an installation school in Dalton. (Hmm haven't we heard this before?) Class would be 30 students for 26 days, year round. Then they would be guaranteed a job with an installer to further their training. This was tried in KC 30 or so years ago and didn't work. The stores wanted the trainees to work hourly for about minimum wage.
