I have never been the partying type. I always preferred a small group of friends with good food, or just curled up with a book and some cats.
Today I watched a few older episodes of Death In Paradise. I missed the 1st three seasons of the show when it first aired so I'm catching up-- on season 2 right now. Internet keeps dropping every couple of minutes so that is aggravating. Going to have to check on the dish in daylight.

Argued with myself about whether or not to go fix the hose bib pipe today or wait until tomorrow. I'd decided on tomorrow but then thought-- what the hell, it's not freezing outside and I know where my parts & tools are. Grabbed some leftover pipe from the pump house. Went to cut it to size and discovered that my pvc cutters have a chip out of the blade. Since my left arm is borked I couldn't use it to help squeeze the cutters tighter so I had to set the other end of the cutters on something solid and push. Finally got it done. At least it cut the connected pipes better. Got the old faucet reconnected & wrapped the pipe in insulation. Waited a few hours and turned the shutoff on. Nothing. Maybe I was wrong about it connecting to the house line. Ugh. So, now I have to figure out where it connects. I've also decided to cut off the other old shutoffs in the pump house bc they are very hard to turn. New shutoffs are easy to turn. My initial plan was to keep them, cut pipe off before them & convert to pex. Now my plan is to cut off just after both of them, put on the new shutoffs and use scrap pipe to connect to adapter fittings, have a pex tee in between them and branch off the main waterline with a pvc tee.

Glad to see you got back up on the horse.
Same customer as that fancy one you did 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 years ago?
My how time flies when your memory is short. 😁
Where do you get those colors?
Those are not "in" these days.
New old stock, or did you have that in your garage from 1979?
That's really nice work Daris.

Where does the bright white pipe on the right go to, the house?
You got a lot going on there from what I see.

Just froze today and it will get worse, Friday morning -25 wind chill.

Glad to see you got back up on the horse.

The colors are leftovers from when I had my rug business. Just trying to use up what I have left. The rug is not made for anyone, just passing time for me. The one I made before I always wanted to donate it to a veterans group but I still have it. I was told by a horse person at a auction of horse people it may get around $4-5 K for it.

Went to get some gas and wash my van this morning. Gas prices must officially be down again because the pump shut off on me at $100. Haven’t had to deal with that annoyance for quite some time and it’s been nice.

Spent half the day cleaning up the inside of my S10 and putting some anti-fog stuff on the windows. Mine is the extended cab, not the kind with the extra door it just has a little space behind the seat where I keep my tools in some plastic containers.
I discovered the carpet back there is stopping wet so the two side windows must somehow leak but it's not visible where because of the plastic trims around the windows. They're a bit of a pain to remove. I'm thinking the gasket on the top side of the window is where the water comes in at.
Didn't have time to put in a heater core this fall so there's no heat coming out of the defroster when the windows get fogged up. The sun was out all day long with some clouds but it actually got up 253° and the wind has been non-existent with the exception of a gust to 4 mph that 2:58 p.m. Ask me how I know 😁
I have too many tools in my tool bag that I don't need to carry in and out of houses so I'm thinking of going over to harbor freight to see if they have an ammo box that I can put a bunch of my excess tools into. I'll keep it in the rig but I won't need to carry such a heavy bag full of unnecessary stuff end of the house. It felt so nice having no rain for an entire day.

Merry Christmas rusty, I just heard that Pacific power raised their rates 25%, reportedly on the news as a small increase because of whatever....
It's funny when they talk about 25 to $40 a month increase in is a small increase.
......not that it would affect the average American.
