Chromecast

Bought my wife a Chromecast. Works really good to send movies wirelessly from Netflix to the TV. I can't use it because I won't have google chrome on my laptop. Tried it once and think it sucks.

I always use more than one browser, but Chrome seemed to want to control everything. So I use IE and Firefox.

Firefox for me .

Working on the in's and out's of linux now .

I don't like the bookmark aspect of Firefox. I find having Icons on the screen more convenient.

Just the opposite for me . Can't see the wallpaper .

Isn't chromecast different from the browser? My sis and I got this for my mom for xmas to send netflix to her hdtv we also bought her. God forbid she has to add goolechrome browser just to use it?

My wife set hers up. She said you needed googlechrome.

Gawd..Personally I just run a hdmi cable straight from my video card to my tv to stream netflix (yes I cancelled cable tv)
My mom's like 80 and lives in AZ. no wonder she can't figure it out.

You can run it through a Wii too. We did.
