Good post , A flooring forum shouldn't be a platform for politics and/or religion.:)

Please keep in mind that some members on City Profile only see black or white, and you can't get them to change their opinions....but it is sure fun trying!

After the election I am kinda burned out on politics. Although I will share a jab on FB once inawile.

Can't imagine having several forums to watch over. Doing flooringinstaller.com is enough for me, and nothing ever happens there these days cept for some errant hardcore hardwood guys.

Fish asked me to mod his forum but I had to say no. I don't like not having complete control of the board. Being a mod gives you very limited functions.

I mod 4 forums, besides being admin here. The admin at city profile is seldom there, so havasu and I pretty much run it.

I was eating breakfast with my 10-year-old Granddaughter and I asked her,
What day is tomorrow?"
Without skipping a beat she said, "It's Presidents Day!"
She's smart, so I asked her "What does Presidents Day mean?"
I was waiting for something about Obama, Bush or Clinton, etc.
She replied,
"Presidents Day is when the President steps out of the White House, And if
he sees his shadow, we have another year of Bull Shit."
You know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out your nose..

Earlier today, Republican Senator Cory Gardner and Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren introduced the STATES Act, a bill that would largely eliminate the federal law banning marijuana in states where it is legal under state law. The new bill states that federal law banning marijuana "shall not apply to any person acting in compliance with State law relating to the manufacture, production, possession, distribution, dispensation, administration, or delivery of marijuana." In other words, if your possession, distribution, or sale of marijuana is legal under state law, it will - if this bill passes - be legal under federal law, as well.
