Just wondering with work seeming to be getting busier and busier what's the prices like everywhere for fitting eg: carpets, vinyls karndean etc. Hopefully the good times will return

Depends on which part of the country you are in. It varies considerably from one area to the other. Sometimes in a very short distance.
