Hardwood landing question

I'm redoing are carpet stairs with Stairtek retreads. I have two landings between the sets of stairs. The landings are roughly 3'X4'. The question is should these landings be racked or if the planks are long enough should they just be cut to length? Thanks.

Six of one, half dozen of another. Looks like your treads are 2 1/4" wide-full length boards so it wouldn't be outrageous to follow suit on your landings if that's the look you want to achieve. Personally, I rather appreciate the character of a random length.
