Hiya guys and girls,
Im currently doing a job for a young man with a fireplace that he wants removing. When i say a fireplace, its basically that he needs the cement of what used to be the hearth removed and levelled.
Now then, Ive told him I am happy to try glue the replacement boards down to the cement but I wont remove it completely for the price I have quoted him.
Am I fighting a losing battle as far as glueing the boards down? Do i need to first position some MDF or chipboard over the cement?
Im half way through the job so Im afraid Im going to have to come up with something.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Cheers, Paul
