I was at Best Buy today looking at the I-Pad 2.
They seem pretty cool but, what are the pro's and con's.
What can/can't it do , that a laptop can?
Santa wants to know what I want for Christmas.

I myself would never buy anything at that store. Their return policy and the conniving sales staff has turned me away permanently. Regarding the Ipad, it is just too delicate for me, it is unable to download DVD's, CD's, or any programs unless it is registered through Ipad. The simulated keyboard is also hard to type on. JMHO!

Haven't been in a Best Buy for a long time. At one time they advertised things that they didn't have and they tried to get you to buy an upgrade. They were very high pressure.

When we were in China recently we bought one for NZ$123 Your money is about 1/3 more than ours so it could have been about US100
They said it was the same as the orginal, it even had the logo on it but it was made in China :)
Wife is using it and it seems fine
