If you don't like ads tracking you

I find it annoying when I shop or do anything else online then log into another site and see ads for the stuff I was looking at elsewhere. I found this opt out thing on Kim Komando and it worked!

Looks a bit different than the cure for the Netflix pop-under ads that so many were bothered with some time ago, pop-up blockers couldn't prevent it. One would have to go to OptMD and opt out, which required keeping that opt-out cookie.
