Recently move out furniture in my moms home to sale. How do you get rid of the indention's in the berber carpet where the furniture used to be?

Ice cubes will remove them if the backing isen't broken .

Stick the ice cubes on the dent for a few minutes , then brush the nap up with a soft cleaning brush. may have to repeat a few times .
I heard that years ago from a realtor.
I told a customer and when they did it the water(from the ice cube melting) left a white stain on their navy blue carpet😳
They must have had hard water .
I haven't recommended that since

The new homeowners are going to rip out the old carpet anyway. I wouldn't worry about it.
