I have loaned them to friends . Never come back in the condition i lent them .
A friend borrowed a $60.00 Paddle from me , came back loaded with concrete .

Pissed off .

The last thing I loaned was a very expensive floor jack to my daughter's boyfriend. He was to use it to work on her car. He took it 60 miles away to work on a bunch of cars and it took 3 weeks to get it back.

I loaned my professional paint sprayer to a friend and had it returned caked in paint. He didn't know you needed to clean it afterwards. Never again...

Then he didn't know how to use it either .

I don't lend anything out anymore .

I have a serious tool buying problem so I have almost EVERY kind of flooring nailer there is, lol. I loan them out only to close friends but they always take a little extra wear than when they stay with me, haha.

I have and probably always will loan certain tools, not all. I've only got bitten twice and it wasn't expensive. When I borrow something, it ALWAYS gets returned in better condition than when I got it.
