Real Player?

Nick what has happened to the old Real Player?
When I record a DVD from the movie camera onto the DVD recorder and want to play it on my puter Real Player asks for $5 a month. Never used to do that
I do have other programes which will play it so not too much of a worry
I just cant see me using the Real Player enough to pay that $5

A lot of software that was free is starting to charge now Jon.
I use VLC player . Best one out there .

Thanks Nick it seems quite good as the quick play
I have Toshiba Player on a lap top, Nero along with Quick Time, Media Player on this puter which seem okay
I was just wondering what happened to the free Real Player?
Thought I might have been doing something wrong
