W10 desktop

W 10 desktop computer has no audio jack port. When he had a W 8.1, the headphone/microphone would plug into his monitor and work. They won't work with his new W10. Any ideas? Even bought a high dollar wireless headphone and the W10 won't recognize those either.

Oh, it is a W10 Alienware gaming computer.

Was trying to find out why a gaming confuser don't have audio jacks.

According to Dell tech support, that computer doesn't have the hardware for headphones. May send it back anyway, it is new and we are having other problems with it.

They tried one "remote fix", and said if that did not work, to send it back. For $1000, not willing to accept any problems.

I wouldn't accept it for $.50
