I'd give it a shot but I ain't finishing it or making the cuts. I'd bid it at around 40 bucks a ft just for laying it.

Some great looking craftmenship. Oh yah you would do the easy part and leave the cutting and finishing to someone else.

Yep, interesting, but still looks good. Darn, now you have my brain going ... they probably laid the floors before the walls and accomodated for that. My guess.

I have done some intarsia. Really can't afford the high dollar wood anymore. But would like to try something intricate like that once.

You're not the only one ... I'm into crafty stuff like this. Almost broke down crying last Xmas, when my son gave me a big gift certificate for a craft store. He knows what I love to do. Heck, when they discontinue the little mosaic tile samples, turn them into jewelry.
