Found and old clipboard in a file cabinet and there were these inside.

This was when I worked in the SF area.

Ah yes, I remember Sears. I was working for Jim Walker(yep that one). We were doing houses down in the Plaza area in KC. Every house had a couple sets of double upholstered stairs, most with birdcages. And he did not allow installers to use a tacker. Fun, fun, fun. Seems like all those people bought from Sears.

I had three of their stores back then . One in NE Phila where all the stairs had birdcages. Waterfalled quite a few .

Why that face? We do 98 percent of em that way here on the left coast.

Use to take so long to do a flight .
Steps were open with three spindles, and the last three were above the ceiling and we had to cap them with a brader .

This is back when we were installing AX , and a lot of woven.
