We did repairs for some of the very old school buildings in Connecticut with those tiles so they had quite a bit of stock in the warehouse left over from jobs and kept for those repairs. I only did a couple of complete classrooms with 9x9 very early on in my career-----must've still been the '70s. I remember how odd it felt compared to the 12x12 and it reacted very differently to the torch.
