Clean up XP

Nick have you any free programs that generally clean up an XP puter?
Kinda one that are a bit above the general programs
Looking to see if I can get old XP to go better

Use the ones i posted for E Jon. Don't forget to Paste the script in OTL when you are done then defrag . you will be running a lot faster .

I don't use the XP Puter as I have others but I just thought I would try and keep it going as something for me to have a play with while I am sitting here doing nudthing

Did all that Nick and now its back to the power button not staying on. Had this trouble a year or so ago. That's why I bought Windows 7 puter
Last time I squirted the power button with CRC which probually dissolved the glue from my fingers

Fixed it again
CRC down the power button
Leave well alone now

Sounds like your power supply is going bad Jon . You getting any beep codes when it does that ?

How is it running now ?
