In a few weeks I'll be installing Vinyl Planks for the first time. So I am going through all the previous questions posted.

Yesterday a friend told me that once half the living room is completed I could put furniture on it. This appealed to me since moving the large couch would be easier if I could leave it in the room and then put back on the first half and continue on the rest of the room.

Anyone here that might have done this before?

glue down or floating?

All the time! Just be careful of rolling heavy stuff on glue down before 24 hours. Floating is no issue.

Sorry, should have clarified it is a floating floor.

Right, I do half the room at a time then slide the furniture over on the new floor. Be careful of damaging the edges,
