Is it okay to Wax Hardwood floors?

My hardwood floors are starting to look very dull but I heard your not supposed to use Wax on hardwoods. What is it I should you if that is the case?

Do you have a poly or waxed finish?

Bona has a refresher system out there. Its just a watered down version of their hardwood finish used on a resand, screening or new finish job. It's not anything that is going to last forever but for a quick fix.
