We recently had PergoXP floors installed that were purchased at Home Depot. The floors look great, but we do have an issue. Any dry rubber soled shoe squeaks extremely load. It does not appear to be an installation issue as bare feet, socks, and leather soles are silent. It is well beyond the normal squeaking. Oddly enough when the soles of the shoes are damp, the squeaking goes away.

Anyone else experience this? Any solutions?

Take off your shoes. Shoes bring dirt into the house anyway.

You have some eastern family genes that I never knew about. :D
Shoes also bring home owners into their homes. ...homes upon which they walk as a common means of transport. ;)
Strange problem tho. Usually slightly damp shoes can squeak like the Dickens.

For what it's worth tho................ Might just need some different shoes. I am 'guessing' it's just your shoes and not 5 different brands of shoes that other family members are wearing.
A lot cheaper than new floors.
