heck if I know, but, it is at a column separating the living room from the dinning room
looks like either a knee kicker or PS slipped,
not a spike, they make a nice round hole.

complaint turned in as a bald spot from tufts/fibers coming out of the carpet.
I agree, patch it fast, move on.

I will post another if Rusty says ok.

I have never used a spike or stinger, so I don't know what kind of hole they leave. to me it looks like a kicker ripped it or a stretcher. The stringies are coming out everywhere. To me that is an indication the hole came from the top. when I see a hole that came from forklift damage, those stringies aren't present like that. I am NOT an inspector though!

I reported it as a installation damage that can be repaired.
I mean, just a "slip up" right? Nothing done on purpose, or with meanness.

Now Stephen, he does things like this out of meanness, cause, he is mean.

Why does the carpet look like two completely different colors in this photo? Is it just the lighting and/or camera? Also, how far into the outside of the roll was this "flaw", because it certainly looks like something that would occur from a delivery issue, just due to the look of a rip. That's the only time I've ever seen this particular appearance with the secondary backing poking up.

What? Did someone say I should be an inspector? NOT!

Tia
