I have a customer who wants me to install a reducer/ threshold in a doorway where I installed ceramic. There is a 1/2" diference in heights between rooms.
The threshold is in two pieces with a tounge and groove.
I was going to fill the groove with wood glue and use Pl-premium to attach it to the ceramic.
The guy that made the threshold told me it is made from teak wood and the glue would not hold due to the oils in the wood.
Is this true? If so, what would be the best was to fasten it ?

I have glued teak transitions to CC with Pl premium before with no issues. You might sand the bottom with 40 grit and scuff up the CC just for shits and giggles.
